About the Founder

Jessica Barna is the founder of Kitchens Resolved. She created the company in 2009 out of her passion for helping families overcome the difficulty of getting to the dinner table on a regular basis.
Not so long ago, Jessica was a full-time employee struggling to get a home-cooked dinner on the table each night. Often, this meant a last-minute trip to the grocery store after work. Not a fun way to end the day. Other times, it meant take out for dinner. Tasty, sure, but not healthy or cheap.
Jessica eventually made her way back to the dinner table, but with lots of experience, lessons, and tips that she now uses to help others make the journey back as well!
Jessica is certified by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals to teach Food Safety, and is currently Director of Professional Development at the National Association of Professional Organizers. Jessica also worked for 3 years as a manager at Starbucks Coffee Company, where she learned all about food preparation systems and efficiency. Jessica holds a B.A. from U.C.S.D. in American History.
